Wow that went by fast!
My best friend and I enjoy quilting and sewing. We have attended classes together and completed projects together.
This past Monday, we just quilted toogether. We took a day off from work. No pressure to finish anything, just a nice leisurely, fun and relaxing experience. I spent so little time paying attention, that I had to put a couple of blocks together twice! Proof positive that I was relaxed! She had a wedding quilt that needed some work and it is so large that it is an ordeal to drag it out and work on it.
Since we both have full time jobs, working on a big project requires the right circumstances and usually are done under pressure. I really think her part was done with so much less stress than usual. And now she doesn't have THAT "out there" demanding her attention. Don't get me wrong - it isn't finished . . .yet! But she is well on her way.
I had several projects that are WIP and I keep adding to that pile. So, I feel much better having made some headway in that area. I think we may try to do this more often!
